Mid NS Thoughts

I'm somewhere in the middle of my ns liability.
I guess it is a good chance to say some of my thoughts about army.

What have i learnt during my time while serving the Army? (Disclaimer : I'm not saying that i learnt these stuffs in army, don't come sue me, me poor, i have no money)

1. We shouldn't say negative stuffs behind people's backs and stay as far away from Sgt Jek as possible.
2. Life can be quite shitty at times, and could be made worse by someone else's shit that's thrown to u. (sorry for the shit, couldn't find a better term for it)
3. Help a man when he is in trouble, he'll remember you when he's in trouble again.
4. The toes that you step on today, might be connected to the leg that holds up the butt that you have to lick tomorrow.
5. There's no such thing as impossible. It only depends on how you do it.
6. Money is not everything. But everything needs money.
7. Nobody does things without a motive.
8. To be a good accountant is not just a matter of mathematics. It's requires responsibility, accountability and hospitality; Hospitality towards auditors.
9. To be a leader, you must be capable. But you'll need to know when to distribute your work to your subordinates. Too little for them, u'll get overworked, your subordinates feel uneasy. Too much for them, they'll overwork, they'll complain. Leaders have to talk to their subordinates once in a while, observe their work to keep them in check. Lazy Bums like me, will start snoring and sleep if no one is looking.

What skills have i picked up in the Army? (While serving in HQ)

3. Basic coffee brewing skills (Together with point 2)
4. All Weather Tentages building skills
5. Wild outback Maggi Mee cooking skills
6. Basic Cosmetic Skills
7. Fundementals of Mosquito eradication
8. How to fire a weapon
9. How to survive in Taiwan (Soon-to-be)
