disappointments.. ]

(U might not read this blog in singapore, but i hope u will come across this in the near future. no hurry anyway. this is what i think at this moment in time) (I don't mean to offend anybody mentioned in this entry, just my personal thoughts)

I've seen your blog entry and felt an intant rush to write something down, somewhere, somehow. I think u would want to read this so i put it here...so i could offer you my point of view. Maybe things will change for the good in the next few days of your stay.
For those people who turned up for the steamboat , most hadn't met each other for as long as 2 years... the duration is as long as the time u left us till now. I hadn't met ernest for 1+ years. I hadn't met Maichee since the release of the O levels results. I hadn't seen yihua for the same amount of time. Guo chen? 1 years without much of a conversation. This is grim, but it's the truth.

I feared that there wasn't anybody going. It came true. I hoped that james and his usual gang of people will come, but they didn't.

I learnt that high hopes lead to high disappointments. I had high expectation of this too. But look at who went to roger's place today. Yeah... maybe their jc/ poly/family friends have a gathering too...

if i was the one going back to my country, just showing up for 5 mins is quite a lot. You've prepared so many gifts for ur friends. But u've got to track them down instead of them running to you.
i was with u guys at the steamboat... i was kind of looking at the senaerio from a 3rd person perspective. This isn't what it's supposed to be... Maybe i'm too free. maybe i'm crazy. maybe i'm thinking too much. but I'm sure not in the mood to take a look at the opposite perspective.

Words like friendship, trust, loyalty and bonding are bullshit to me most of the time. But with friends like u, i wouldn't need to turn the pages of the dictionary to know their meaning.

Merry Christmas...3.23AM... 25 DEC
